Staff QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Staff QA Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives and drive automation excellence across our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test automation, quality engineering, CI/CD practices, and software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and implement quality strategies, standards, and best practices.
* Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
* Establish quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement processes.
* Review requirements and technical designs to identify quality risks early.
* Mentor QA engineers and promote a quality-first culture across teams.
* Support CI/CD pipeline integration and test automation initiatives.
* Investigate production issues and drive root cause analysis.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in QA or Quality Engineering.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
* Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
* Expertise in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred qualifications include experience with performance testing, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and QA certifications such as ISTQB.
